The painting has been sketched out with a stiff brush and mostly purple with a little white and green paint.
I lived in Madrid on two occasions as a student and both times for about 6 months. I love the Madrid. I love the people. I love the architecture. I love the culture. I love the Prado and all the artwork. It is a city full of life and beauty with a rich history and wonderful energy. This painting is being done from a photo I took while visiting there again a few years ago with my son. I am excited about it because of the colors and because of the little face that will add some intrigue to the simple subject of a person standing infront of some flowers.
